This is one of the most highly sought and definitely greatest needs! Thanks to a generous partnership with Home Instead Senior Care and Walgreens, 56 San Francisco Walgreens stores will participate in promoting "trees" filled with wish-list holiday gift requests for Curry seniors, many of which are homeless. You can help by working with our Queen Elf, Arlo Bushnell to put up the displays at the Walgreens and by picking up gifts once a week and delivering them to Curry Senior Center. This program begins just before Thanksgiving and ends just after Christmas Day.

Description
Today, at Curry Senior Center we serve 2,600 seniors within a central city area stretching from Potrero Hill to lower Nob Hill and from the San Francisco Bay to Van Ness Avenue. We provide primary care at our medical clinic and through home visits to clients, case management for those who want it, substance abuse counseling, social and educational opportunities, and breakfast and lunch daily for seniors. In late 2003, we opened a new facility for our social programs and permanent housing for 13 formerly homeless seniors. Throughout our history, Dr. Curry's mission statement has been our driving force.
