Do you belong to a group or organization that cares about our community? Could you help us get an introduction to that group? Join the Face 2 Face Connections Committee!
Helping Hands of Vegas Valley provides over 600 rides each month to seniors in the community. Another 700 seniors are on the waitlist to receive transportation. This is a waiting time of about 12 months.
The purpose of the F2F Connections Committee is to help us get in front of organizations that could help us recruit volunteer drivers. The Committee meets every other month and brainstorms opportunities to speak to organizations and groups. Committee Members will then help contact groups they are affiliated with to set up speaking opportunities for Helping Hands staff and volunteers to recruit volunteer drivers.

Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, a 501c3 (2000), with a volunteer Board of Directors is working to provide access to basic services for the senior population in the Las Vegas Valley area at no cost to them. We believe that every senior deserves to live a happy and healthy life, and we strive to make that a reality for all of our clients. Serving Seniors 60 and Greater in Our Community Since 2000
Helping Hands of Vegas Valley (HHOVV) is a dedicated non-profit organization that offers five essential programs to low-income seniors aged 60 and greater in the Las Vegas community, completely free of charge. Each month, we proudly serve over 3,500 seniors who rely on our comprehensive programs and services to support and enhance their quality of life.Helping Hands of Vegas Valley (HHOVV) is a dedicated non-profit organization that offers five essential programs to low-income seniors aged 60 and above in the Las Vegas community, completely free of charge. Each month, we proudly serve over 3,500 seniors who rely on our comprehensive programs and services to support and enhance their quality of life.
Our programs include:
A well-stocked pantry providing nutritious food items
Respite care for caregivers, offering much-needed breaks
Reliable transportation services to medical appointments and other essential destinations
Minor home repair assistance to ensure safe and comfortable living conditions
Nutrition programs designed to promote healthy eating habits and overall well-being
All types of volunteers are welcome: Groups, families, individuals, organizations. One time commitments to long term commitments!
