Do you want to promote greater cross-cultural awareness, understanding and engagement? Do you want to work with a diverse team of wonderful volunteers and interns from around the world? Do you want to make a difference and engage in efforts that are actually fulfilling? Then volunteering with the Worldview Project is your ticket!
OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION:
The WVP is looking for an outgoing and determined individual to write, call, and visit local organizations to discuss mutually beneficial promotional opportunities.
The ideal candidate will: work closely with our staff to optimize the impact of marketing strategies and promotional projects. We are also looking for someone with great interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, someone who is detailed oriented and possess great organizational skills. Such qualities are a must!
Most of our work happens during normal business hours, with only occasional weekend or evening hours requested.Our minimum commitment for a volunteer is 120 hours within a 6 months period and for interns, 120 hours within a 3 months timeframe.

The Worldview Project’s educational mission is to promote greater cross-cultural awareness, understanding and engagement. We accomplish our mission through the publication of The San Diego Participant Observer online magazine, the producing of events such as the Harmony & Motion International Music and Dance Festival and the Harmony in Action Cross-cultural Non Profits Fair and through collaborations with other organizations. Our organization’s greatest achievements and involvement are currently within our San Diego community, but we strive to have an impact on local, regional and national levels.
