Volunteers must be over 18!
We are looking for volunteers 55+ to assist struggling first thru third grade readers in a Paterson public school reading program during school hours. The volunteer will tutor the student(s) a minimum of once per week to help them get to their reading grade level. The volunteer must have a background check and fingerprinting, be fluent in English and have excellent reading skills. You must commit to a minimum of one day a week for one hour. Norwescap RSVP links the skills of volunteers with local organizations to meet identified community needs.
Norwescap RSVP offers volunteer management expertise to Affiliated Partner Agencies while also coordinating a number of community programs. Our staff has combined for over 50 years of non-profit and volunteer experience.
