Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains - Serving New Hampshire and Vermont

Leader 2

Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, adult volunteer Troop Leaders engage girls in discovering themselves, connecting with others, and taking action to make the world a better place. You'll help them unleash the power of G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)(tm), as they develop leadership skills and confidence in a girl-led, girl-friendly environment in which they’ll feel free to stand up, speak up, explore, and be themselves. Imagine the smiles, the excitement, the memories made--those are the moments you'll share at Girl Scouts.

As an adult volunteer Troop Leader, responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Creating a safe, fun, and exciting troop meeting setting featuring girl-led activities,
  • Helping girls expand their horizons and worldliness through troop events such as weekend and summer camps,
  • Be the embodiment of the Girl Scout Promise and Girl Scout Law both in and out of troop meetings and events.

Volunteers will be provided with training to ensure you are well-prepared for troop leadership.

Be the role model she’ll always remember. Volunteer today!

Criminal background check is required.
