What do YOU Repair?

Give back to your community and get your hands dirty with the Repair the World: Philadelphia and Jewish Farm School through our joint program, the Philly Farm Crew ! We organize volunteer opportunities at a variety of urban farms and gardens around Philly. Please complete this form to receive updates on this exciting initiative! We also organize community building events such as potlucks for our farmers, volunteers, and those interested in getting involved. Times and locations vary week to week, and by the season, but we offer opportunities both during the workday, on weekends, and on weekday evenings.

Mission Statement

Our service makes tangible differences in lives and communities, and we infuse it with Jewish values, learning about historical and social contexts that surround the issues, reflecting on our experiences, and assessing our impact. In fact, we believe that this 'infusion’ enables us to serve better - to contribute more consciously and tangibly to the issues we work on and the communities we work in.

Repair the World is a national nonprofit, based in New York City. We were founded in 2009, with the mission of making deep and meaningful volunteer service a central part of Jewish life. We enable people to transform their neighborhoods, cities and lives through meaningful service experiences, rooted in Jewish values, history and heritage.

We'll work with your schedule.
