Spanish Speaking Outreach Volunteers are needed to assist with Susan G. Komen's Latino Outreach Initiative. These volunteers are needed to assist with community outreach and breast health education activities that are coordinated throughout Orange County. Activities include breast cancer awareness events, community health fairs, and mobile mammography days.
Volunteers be aged 18 and older and must speak Spanish, possess excellent communication skills, be outgoing and love interacting with people. Outreach activities occur 7 days a week and there are opportunities for day and evening involvement depending on individual volunteer availability.
Volunteers must hold a current drivers’ license and have their own transportation.
Orientation and training regarding breast health promotion will be provided to all outreach volunteers.
