Perhaps one of the greatest needs across the TwinCities, as well as across the state, is care and control of feral cat colonies. The Minnesota Humane Society (MHS) provides funding for trap-neuter-release of feral cats and caretakers provide food, water and shelter to the colonies. Some caretakers do not have viable shelter options to provide. In those cases, MHS tries to provide feral cat houses whenever possible. These houses provide shelter for 5-7 adult cats. The demand for houses always exceeds our supply. Please help us provide shelter for these cats. We will provide you with the plans/instructions and pay for the building materials. The best part is you can do this at home!
