Children ages 5-15 need help with homework, they need someone to read them stories, pass out snacks and play outside in the fresh air. High school students (over 16) and college students needing to earn community service hours are excellent candidates. Give one afternoon each week or more, or all week during Spring Break, as the schedule is flexible.

Responsible for assisting class room instructor with students as it pertains to:

-Signing- in & Signing out

-Homework supervision

-Classroom Activities

SUMMER CAMP STARTS JUNE 12TH AND RUNS FOR 5 WEEKS. VOLUNTEERS WILL DO SIMILIAR DUTIES AS AFTER SCHOOL BUT WILL GO ON FIELD TRIPS AND DO OTHER FUN ACTIVITIES WITH THE KIDS.

Description

After-school services and summer camp programs in 6 Miami -Dade locations. Activities include academic enrichment, field trips, cultural events, sports, dance, art, character education, preventive health screenings and homework assistance.
