This is an ongoing opportunity in Rock Hill, SC. The Children's Attention Home is a residential program that serves children ages birth through 21 who have been removed from their homes because of abuse, abandonment, or neglect.
Meal Time Assistants support our children and staff throughout meal times . Volunteers assist with the preparation and set up of meals as well as clean up of the kitchen and dining room after meals have been served.
The opportunity is available on Thursdays/Fridays from 5pm until 7pm. Volunteers must complete an application, background check ($16 fee), as well as attend a (1) hour volunteer orientation.
Special Note: Our campus location is confidential. We will share our physical address after an orientation date has been confirmed.

The Children's Attention Home Inc., provides emergency residential shelter and supportive services for abused, neglected, and abandoned children ages birth through 21 years who have been identified at risk of harm in their present condition of living arrangements, and/or if the child's parent or guardian cannot or will not provide safe and adequate care.
Description
The Children's Attention Home consists of three fourteen-bed cottages that house children placed by the Department of Social Services.
