We are the only Akita rescue for many states and we are packed. We know not everyone can bring one home but there is so much work to do to help save their lives. We maintain kennels in Riverside county and maintain a home business ofice in San Diego.

If you have time & office skills, we need volunteers on an ongoing & consistent basis to do the following:

Develop & maintain spreadsheets & a databank of contacts for our email mailing list.

Be an event coordinator & be available to attend adoption events & train other volunteers to work with you in that effort.

Create & maintain a fundraising effort to providee the financial needs & support for our pack.

Create a newsletter monthly using your creative writing skills.

Transport animals to both events and to our kennels from shelters when we rescue them.

Be an adoption coordinator by using your telephone & email to contact & recontact potential adopters and schedule meetings of these adopters with the dogs at the kennels.

Help with acccounting records using Quickbooks and maintain monthly records of transactions & producing reports on a regular basis.

Any & all kinds of admin tasks relevant to aasmall business.
