University Hospitals Hospice is seeking compassionate men and women to give a few hours each month to provide emotional and practical support to hospice patients in UH hospitals, a patients' homes or nursing facilities. Volunteers provide friendly visits, calm presence at the bedside or give a few hours of relief to a tired caregiver. Run an errand, listen to music, read or just be a quiet presence with someone who is in that final phase of life. No hands on care is required and training is provided, including a flexible high quality online training option.
