Love to engage audiences on Facebook,Twitter and Instagram? Able to promote an event & fill the room??

Do you have a youthful, yet professional approach to social media?

Just Speak is looking for individuals adept in social media, with time to commit!

Flexible hours, but, must attend some board meetings to keep abreast of organizations activities, programming, and events for LIVE tweeting!

  • Must understand and respect the sensitive issue of child sexual abuse and those it affects.
  • Must be able to communicate his/her understanding into creative content suitable for social media.
  • Must be willing to attend events, workshops and participate in "live tweets", Instagram or other social media promotions.
  • Proficiency with Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram are a must, including Facebook EdgeRank.
  • Ability to learn appropriate and newsworthy items to post related to issues, Just Speak and local and national news.
  • Must be willing to work closely as a team directly with executive director and staff as directed.
  • Must adhere to Just Speak's code of conduct for social media.
  • Must be willing to promote Just Speak using social media 2-3 times daily.

Description

Just Speak is a trauma-centered advocacy that provides crisis support and resiliency programming for children and youth aged 5 to 17 years. Since 2003, Just Speak has held the survivor story as the connector for a network of trained advocates from a variety of disciplines. We believe that prevention, intervention, and awareness building based in play and creative expression leads to healthy socio-emotional skills, and ultimately, to a life of resiliency.
