The Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity's staff is small, and we seek volunteers to help with light office work such as filing, answering phones, and data entry. This office work is an indispensable part of accomplishing our mission of partnering with low income families who wish to earn home-ownership.

Currently our Volunteer Coordinator, Greta, is looking for help with Data Entry. Weekly we use Salesforce to enter waivers, and track our volunteer hours. Greta is needing a volunteer who learns quick and is comfortable using a computer.

If this is you, we would love to have you!

About Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity, Inc.

Location:

5183 Harlem Road, Loves Park, IL 61111, US

Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God's people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which God's people can live and grow into all that God intended.

Description

Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry that works in partnership with people in need of decent shelter to build simple, decent houses. Habitat homeowners purchase their houses through no-profit, no-interest mortgages while contributing hundreds of hours of "sweat equity" labor working on their house and the houses of others. Mortgage payments are placed in a revolving "Fund for Humanity" to finance the construction of future homes.
