Aging Resources of Central Iowa
Help lead an exciting and fun nutrition education session called Fresh Conversations monthly at a senior center or congregate meal site in central Iowa. Fresh Conversations is a newsletter that has great information about nutrition and health. It also contains a monthly recipe which the participants get to taste. Your role as a facilitator would be: Meet with the Fresh Conversations Coordinator for training. Training is not lengthy, but gives facilitators a better picture of what the program is about and how it runs. Present the newsletter to the older adults at the senior center (this can range from 8-20 people) in a fun and energetic manner. Purchase, prepare and distribute the monthly sample (You would be reimbursed for all purchases) If this sounds interesting to you and you are enthusiastic and energetic, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
