Help lead an exciting and fun nutrition education session called Fresh Conversations monthly at a senior center or congregate meal site in central Iowa. Fresh Conversations is a newsletter that has great information about nutrition and health. It also contains a monthly recipe which the participants get to taste. Your role as a facilitator would be: Meet with the Fresh Conversations Coordinator for training. Training is not lengthy, but gives facilitators a better picture of what the program is about and how it runs. Present the newsletter to the older adults at the senior center (this can range from 8-20 people) in a fun and energetic manner. Purchase, prepare and distribute the monthly sample (You would be reimbursed for all purchases) If this sounds interesting to you and you are enthusiastic and energetic, please email freshconversationsinfo@gmail.com.

Aging Resources staff advocate, coordinate and provide services through federal, state and private funding to persons 60 years of age and older and their families. Our goal is to allow older adults individual choices in their care process in order to remain safe and independent in their homes.
We accomplish this through:
- Information and Assistance - We are here for you! We have specialists that can offer assistance and connect you to services and programs.
- Case Management - We coordinate community services to help you stay safely in your own home.
- Family Caregiver Program - Be the best caregiver you can be! We can help.
We have contracted service providers in some of our outlying counties to ensure quality services are available to all persons within our catchment area.
