An experienced Audio Tech Intern is needed for current and upcoming documentary film projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain audio engineering / sound design experience, and get credited on the environmental/historical documentary film: "The Extraordinary Passage of the Great White Hunter" among other projects.

Applicants should have some soundtrack design training/experience, and be proficient in Pro Tools, Audition or other audio program.

An undergraduate or graduate degree in sound design/audio engineering is ideal but not required.

We are looking for a commitment of 15 - 20 hours / week.

Interlock Media is a non-profit film company that is dedicated to promoting solutions to environmental and human rights challenges. We support informed empowerment at the grassroots and community level by producing educational and dramatic media works.

For our part, we are dedicated to your hands on training and participation from day one. We are based in East Cambridge.

Description

Interns participate in all aspects of film and media production, including: research writing coordination of crews participation in shoots participation in film editing scriptwriting production of print materials any task that may arise

Salary: None Qualifications:

Interns must have strong communication skills, a desire to learn, and a pro-active attitude. The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required: superior writings skills technical ability computer skills (mac platform) experience with camera, lighting, or other gear.
