We are the first stop for many that visit Bluffton. Visitors are excited to learn about the history and what there is to do in Bluffton and the surrounding area. Docents give 30 minute guided tours of the house and grounds. They also provide maps, directions, and suggestions for what to see and where to eat in the local area. Some docents choose to also give the guided walking tour of Bluffton. Docents enjoy several field trips throughout the year and other social activities.
Other volunteer opportunities include working in the archives, being on a committee, such as the Event Planning Committee, or helping with school groups, events, or programs such as archaeology, candle-making, and a scavenger hunt.
