Volunteers Needed! LGSONS (aka Mountain School) is hosting our annual Turkey Trot Fun Run and we are still searching for volunteers who are interested in working with a great group of people on Race Day (November 4th at Lake Almaden). Volunteers will be needed for the following tasks.
-Race day registration volunteers
-Volunteers to set up and run child craft tables
-Volunteers to set up & distribute food & drink on race day
-Volunteers to cheer on our families as they complete the Fun Run
Volunteers are needed from 7am-11am
THIS EVENT IS HELD RAIN OR SHINE!!!!
Meet at the Arroyo Picnic Area of Almaden Lake which is on the opposite end of the main entrance.

Our school in the woods and in the mountains is a preschool where parents are the students and children come to play. We offer a unique school experience that integrates an outdoor program in a natural setting with a more traditional indoor program in a charming old schoolhouse. The school has been a place of learning for teachers, parents and children since 1956. Many 'alumni’ return to share the school with their children and to develop and refine their own parenting skills.
Description
The Los Gatos-Saratoga Observation Nursery School is a parent child development program for children ages 2-5 in a rural setting that emphasizes the value of the outdoors, self-directed play, and self-esteem. Children attend 1-3 days per week, depending on age. Parents attend one class per week, recording observations of their child, while the children grow and explore with their teachers and peers. Through observation and monthly parent education meetings, parents acquire a better understanding of their child's development and personality.
