Come join our community of inspirational individuals working together to share the legacy of Susan B. Anthony!

"Do one thing!" Susan B. Anthony’s advised a fresh-faced volunteer. After fifty years of agitating Susan B. Anthony knew change did not come without action, that even small efforts made a difference, and that everyone had a role to play. The work of multitudes of volunteers doing "one thing" helped women get the right to vote!

How can you put your talents to use? Perhaps as a volunteer at the Susan B. Anthony Museum and House? Whether filing, working in the mueum shop, or sharing Susan B. Anthony’s inspiring story as a docent, there is a role for you to do good at the Susan B. Anthony Museum and House.

The National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House will host a training session for new volunteer candidates who are interested in serving as docents for three consecutive Saturdays, February 25, March 4 and 11, from 9:00am-11:30am.

Interested individuals are invited to come and learn about the requirements for serving as a docent as well as other opportunities available at the Museum. The event will be held in our Carriage House, located behind our Visitor Center at 19 Madison Street.

Parking is available in our our Museum lot, adjacent to the visitor center, or on the even-numbered side of Madison Street.

In 2015, the Museum’s 120 volunteers contributed over 9,000 hours of their time, providing docent-led tours; assisting with programs, retail operations, reception duties, & special projects; and gardening, landscaping, & maintenance tasks.
