Are you over age 55? Become a member of RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) and learn about the Ombudsman Program at Lifespan. NYS certified Ombudsmen are specially trained volunteers who resolve problems, preserve dignity, protect the rights and ensure respect of seniors who live in local long term care communities. Training will be held April 21, 22 and 25, 26 and 27, 2016. Contact us for details!

AmeriCorps Seniors recruits and places volunteers over age 55 in activities that address critical community needs, eg. education, homeless, safety and security, health education, disaster preparedness,nutrition, hospice, health and wellness, and providing a better quality of life for others.
