Volunteer an hour (or more) per week to water Common Ground Garden. It provides you with peace and quiet, while helping our education and demonstration garden to thrive! For more information about Common Ground Garden, visit our website: commongroundgarden.org.
Our waterers come reliably every week to water the garden on the day of their choice. Right now we only need waterers who are able to come on Mondays, as our other slots are full. If you would be able to commit about an hour each week to water on Monday, please let us know!
If you are interested in volunteering on another day of the week, please consider joining our waiting list! We will contact you if slots on other days become available.

About Common Ground Garden
Location:
687 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto, CA 94306, US
Mission Statement
Common Ground Garden transforms our students’ relationships to food by inspiring them to eat mindfully, to make healthy and sustainable food choices, and ultimately to grow their own food through biologically-intensive, sustainable gardening practices.
Description
Our community garden is a place of hands-on learning for all ages.
Common Ground Garden offers free classes with a unique approach to sustainable living: growing soil to grow food and community. This means we start with making nutritious soil (without depleting other sources), which inevitably leads to healthy plants and healthy people. By empowering people to then teach others in their community, this becomes a powerful cycle that perpetuates itself.
