We are looking for a Pro-Bono Accountant to support the organization's overall fiscal responsibility and IRS compliance.

Ars Minerva is a San Francisco-based, 501(c)3 performing arts organization created in 2013 by CĂ©line Ricci. Its mission is to engage new and younger audiences for classical music through innovative productions.

Ars Minerva is very proud to bring back to life forgotten music with the collaboration of local artists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Recreating operas is a rare and captivating experience we are happy to share with the diverse community of the region.

Since its inception, Ars Minerva has already presented the modern world premieres of two long-forgotten Venetian operas in San Francisco. In March 2015 Ars Minerva re-created La Cleopatra, composed by Daniele da Castrovillari, which was originally featured at the 1662 Venice Carnival season. In May 2016, in its second year of operation, Ars Minerva re-created The Amazons in the Fortunate Isles, composed in 1679 by Carlo Pallavicino.

In addition, Ars Minerva has collaborated with several other Bay Area organizations such as Humanities West, The Museum of Performance + Design, The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life, and The Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco.

In July 2017, Ars Minerva will perform at the historic Lick Observatory, as part of their Music of the Spheres concert series.

Ars Minerva also created Baroque for Kids, an outreach program for high school students with the Italian class of the Ruth Asawa School for the Arts.

Annual Financial Contribution from each member of the board: $1000 or more: demonstrating that Ars Minerva is a key philanthropic priority.
