About

Can you give one hour, one day a week?

That's all it takes to facilitate meaningful conversations for English Language Learners in the Arlington Reads program!

Arlington Reads is looking for English Conversation Circle leaders to volunteer at the Literacy House location or at the Arlington Public Library's Southeast branch.

During English Conversation Circles, students practice speaking with other English language learners as well as native English speakers in order to improve their conversational fluency. No registration is necessary and new conversation buddies are always welcome!

As a Volunteer Conversation Circle Leader you will help students to overcome their language fears and encourage them to build and improve their casual listening, reading, and communicative skills in English.
