Trunk or Treat!

We are seeking volunteers to help us with our annual Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, October 23rd!

This event is for children with developmental disabilities and provides a safe alternative to trick or treating. This event will take place in the parking lot of the Developmental Pathways Aurora Office (11111 E. Mississippi Ave).

Volunteers are asked to decorate their vehicle/trunk (decoration can be minimal or to the extreme!) and bring candy to hand out. Best decorated trunk wins a prize!

Volunteers are welcome to start coming to set up any time after 1pm for set up. Families will be arriving between 2-4 pm. Please note that this event is completely outdoors. Please dress for the weather!

Description

Developmental Pathways is a Colorado non-profit agency created to serve persons with developmental disabilities and their families. It was established in 1964 as a community-based alternative to institutional care. Since that time, Pathways has developed a broad array of services based on the principle that full inclusion and participation in community life is attainable for every individual with a developmental disability. Developmental Pathways serves citizens of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, and the portion of Adams County within the City of Aurora city limits.
