Common Ground Relief owns and operates a licensed tree farm and marsh grass nursery and plants bottomland hardwood trees and marsh grasses for numerous federal, state and local agencies near New Orleans, Louisiana.
We are hoping to get local residents involved in these projects.

Our planting projects occur from late October through June 30 each year.

Mission Statement
To rebuild housing and wetlands restoration in communities along the Gulf Coast devastated by hurricanes, floodings and the recent BP oil spill.
Description
Skilled volunteers are needed to help with our rebuild and new home construction programs. We also have a large wetland restoration program and native plant nursery. We conduct tree and native grass plantings during much of the year.
We also have a Legal clinic and support a wetland education and food science program at a local primary school.
