Please join us in supporting a family right in your community. Liberty Hospice is in immediate need of volunteers to provide companionship to our families in their homes or in local nursing homes. Being bored or lonely are often our patient's number one complaint! If you can hold a hand and lend a listening ear then you are perfect for the job! Help us make each moment matter for our patients and families. Training and volunteer assignements are based on the volunteer's interests and availability. Join us in the rewarding work and help us make a difference for your neighbor.

Description
We are in need of companionship volunteers to visit patients in their home, special assistance volunteers to run errands, cook meals, play an instrument, or do hair, and administrative volunteers to assist with mailing and data entry in our home office. The ideal volunteer has good listening skills, a positive approach to life, and a willingness to work as a team. Join us in this rewarding work and help us make a difference for your neighbor.
