Nothing says "home" like a home-cooked meal prepared by people who truly care. Help ease the stress and financial burden for families in medical crisis and give them a "home away from home" by preparing meals. Meals can either dropped off at the Welcome Center and delivered to the families' apartments, or served family-style in the Welcome Center or Day Room where guests are invited down to share in fellowship time. Volunteers can help by making meals by him or herself or can help by joining with family, friends, co-workers or a church group to provide meals for Hospitality House families, monthly, quarterly, or whenever works with your schedule!
About Hospitality House of Tulsa
1135 South Victor Ave, Tulsa, OK 74104, US
Hospitality House of Tulsa is a non-profit organization that provides family-centered, home-like lodging and support services to families and their loved ones who are receiving medical treatment far from their home communities. We provide a 'home away from home" for approximately 1,000 families each year.
Since its founding in 2006, Hospitality House of Tulsa has served over 4,780 families traveling to Tulsa for critical medical care. By providing home-like lodging, meals, prayer support, transportation assistance, and other support services, Hospitality House helps families that would otherwise be sleeping in a waiting room chair or their vehicle while their loved one is in the hospital. With 13 family suites located at 1135 S. Victor Ave. serving all 14 Tulsa-area hospitals, and a 10-room Hotel Extension Program located at the DoubleTree Hotel at Warren Place serving Saint Francis patient families, Hospitality House is dedicated to providing a 'home away from home' for families traveling in medical crisis.
