The mission of the Zion Keepers, Inc. is to provide high quality services to adult males and homeless veterans through housing, prevention, intervention, and community collaboration. Zion Keepers, Inc. focuses on the stabilization and development of men 24 and up.
Description
Zion Keepers, Inc a faith-based organization that provides transitional and permanent supportive housing to recovering drug and alcohol dependent persons, disable veterans, parolees and people living with HIV/AIDS. Zion Keepers, Inc. opened its Transitional Housing Program for men in 2001 called, The Working House Of Hope, In 2005, we opened our Permanent Supportive Housing (SHP) program for disabled homeless male veterans in Cobb County called project HOPE..The housing programs consist of transitional housing and permanent supportive housing for the disabled.
Our purpose is to empower these individuals with a healthy mind, body and spirit through housing assistance, prevention, intervention and community collaborations which will enhance the quality of life for these individuals. The organization has served and nurtured more than 1,000 individuals since inception and has constantly modified its philosophy to be abreast with the challenges faced by homeless and low income individuals today. ZION KEEPERS INC focus is on the stabilization and development of these individuals.The main focus of our program is to provide a safe and stable living environment for our clients to enable them on their recovery and mental restructuring. The Project works closely with other community organizations to foster strength.
