Adult Literacy League

  • 47 people are interested

The Adult Literacy League provides one-to-one tutoring for adult learners with the hope of improving literacy rates in Central Florida. We serve those interested in improving their reading, writing, and basic literacy skills, as well as English Language Learners.

The League is always in need of new tutors to help us tackle literacy issues in Central Florida! One in every fiveCentral Florida adult reads at or below the 5th grade level!! If you can read, you can teach someone to read!

Tutors meet their students at our office or at libraries around the tri-county area (Orange, Osceola, Seminole).

If you’re interested, please contact Hugh Mills at hmills@adultliteracyleague.org or 407-422-1540. Check out our website for more information, www.adultliteracyleague.org.
