Empower adults with disabilities and special needs in our adult community day programs. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available including but not limited to: assistance with lunch time activities, arts & crafts activities, coaching on computers, community outings, cooking, exercise fitness and gardening. Weekday daytime volunteers are our greatest need.
These are 2021 volunteer opportunities - start date TBD. Volunteer shifts can be Monday-Friday, anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Multiple locations in Aurora, Sugar Grove, Batavia and others.

Description
For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.
All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
