Northwest Harvest provides food to more than 375 partner food banks, hot meal programs, and high need schools across the state. At our Yakima warehouse, we need the help of many caring and energetic volunteers to help us sort and reapackage bulk food items, as well as sort through food drive donations. The items you sort and pack will then be distributed to programs in the Yakima area.
You will be amazed how much you can accomplish in just one 2-hour shift! Work weekly, monthly or occassionally. No experience necessary! Great for school groups or businesses looking for a teambuilding experience! Individuals always welcome as well! Our minimum age is 9 years old or 3rd grade.
