Prairie Fire Farms Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the retirement, rehabilitation, and re-career of Off-the-Track Thoroughbred horses, as well as any breed of horse in need. We also raise funds to bring equine opportunities to low-income families, under-privileged and/or at-risk youth and Veterans. Prairie Fire Farms’ goal is to use equine education and therapy to provide youth with long-term skills to ensure life-long success.

Our non profit horse rescue 100% run on public donations and grants.

We are looking for an experienced grant writer that is willing to write for federal and private grants OR be a mentor to the Grant Committee.

Description

We retrain and rehome rescued horses. Some become part of our riding lesson program.

We provide equine opportunitites to low income and at risk youth through donations, grants and a scholarship fund.
