ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Texas

Volunteers of America Texas

Volunteers of America Texas is in search of a passionate and dedicated individual to facilitate 12-step meetings with the women in Resolana, a program that works to break the cycle of incarceration and facilitate re-entry into the community for women in the Dallas County Jail.

The 12-step facilitator will be responsible for leading meetings--either for Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, or Narcotics Anonymous--for a group of around 20 women. Volunteers should already have experience participating in the 12-step program.

Volunteers who wish to help women overcome addiction and trauma are encouraged to apply. (Female volunteers only please)
