Volunteers of America Texas is in search of creative and upbeat individuals to lead an arts & crafts class for the women with the Mother and Infants Together (MINT) program at Avenue J, a residential re-entry center for men and women exiting the prison system. MINT provides care and support for pregnant women who are incarcerated

The arts & crafts leader will be responsible for planning and teaching lessons on various crafts that will be suitable for the women to do with their children. Volunteers will also need to provide some supplies.

Volunteers who wish to encourage and help women are welcome to apply.
