Volunteers of America Texas is in search of dedicated and focused individuals to help compile a list of resources for the men and women at Avenue J, a residential re-entry center for those exiting the prison system.
The resource specialist will be in charge of researching organizations and agencies in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that help provide housing, employment, medical resources, food and clothing, etc. The resource specialist will also be responsible for compiling their research into a comprehensive booklet that includes contact information and how to access the resources needed. Volunteers serving in this capacity will be a key part of helping clients access the tools they need to successfully re-enter the community.
