ORGANIZATION: Neighbor to Neighbor of South Carolina

Our neighbors are just like you and me, they just can't drive anymore. Their desire is to stay in the comfort and safety of their home for as long as possible, but without transportation, accessing the food and health care they need can be a challenge... and for some...life threatening.

No senior should have to choose between paying for a transport to the doctor and buying their groceries.

Help us be there for them by volunteering just 2 rides a month! We carry supplemental medical, automobile, and volunteer liability insurance on all volunteers--- at no cost to you! Also, we have an easy-to-use online scheduling tool where you can login and signup for rides at your convenience.

Our home office is in the "heart" of Myrtle Beach, but our services are offered in local neighborhoods (near YOU!) throughout Horry and Georgetown counties. You choose what trips you want to take, where you want to go, and how far you’re willing to drive.

Mission Statement

Neighbor to Neighbor of South Carolina, Inc. (N2N), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, promotes independence, relieves isolation, and connects homebound adults to their community through transportation and technology. 2016 Recipient of the state-wide SCANPO Excellence Award (now Together SC). Neighbor to Neighbor dedicated to helping solve adult isolation through passionate and committed volunteers.

Description

Neighbor to Neighbor inspires in us the desire to help our fellow Neighbor who is homebound due to age, disability, and/or chronic illness in Brunswick, Horry, Georgetown, and Williamsburg Counties. Neighbor to Neighbor is also committed to serving the veterans in our community.

In the spirit of unselfish love, N2N uses innovative technology and best practices in connecting adults in need with qualified and trained volunteers who provide services, such as transportation to medical appointments and other life enhancing destinations, to promote and maintain independent living.
