We've got the trucks, trailers, tools, and heart for it. We just need some extra hands.
We need help! Throughout the year, people have items to donate to ReStore, but no way to get it to us. That's where you can help. On assigned routes over the course of a day, make assigned pickups and drop it all off for resale.
Or, if you want to be a bit more active and get your hands dirty, we do have demolitions and remodels where we go in and salvage usable household materials like doors, windows, flooring and trim to prevent them being dumped in a landfill. While not an everyday activity, these always need many hands to help out!

Description
We are a committed family at Lakes Area Habitat, and because of our unbeatable volunteers we have given 100 families in our community habitat homes! We also have a ReStore right in Brainerd and do salvages from homes scheduled for demolition and donation pickups in the four county area.

- A full day at a time. Salvages are often on a deadline, so we do full days to get the work done.
- Requires DOT certification to drive the box truck. We do also have a truck and trailer. Must be physically able to do some lifting if doing pick-ups.
