The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know about the most effective ways to contribute.

Please join us and enjoy fresh air and mountain views while helping your community! No minimum time commitments, we appreciate whatever time and effort you can give. Just drop in Monday through Friday only, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. (earlier during summer months). Come when you wish/leave when you wish in that time frame. Sorry, the farm is closed on weekends.
Volunteers will learn about natural, sustainable gardening and help Felicia's Farm provide locally grown fresh food and humanely raised eggs to those most in need. We depend on volunteers to enable us to donate 200 lbs of fresh food and 130 dozen eggs every week to Casa Maria soup kitchen. Doesn't everyone deserve healthy food? Bring a water bottle and wear clothes that can get dirty. Farm Manager Sofia (or anyone there) can show you where to sign in to get started. We have gloves and tools. Call or email with any questions. 520-261-4458 or check out our facebook page or website; www.feliciasfarm.org
