We are looking for caring, enthusiastic volunteers, ages 14 and up, to help prepare food sacks for our Helping Kids Eat Weekend Backpack Meal Program. This is a SSL approved activity. All volunteers must attend a 1.5 hour orientation that will count towards your overall volunteer hours. Please contact us at wwcmvolunteers@yahoo.com and leave a contact number to get started.

Description
Founded in 2001, we are a nonprofit organization established to restore men women and children to wholeness through several program areas: food pantries for families, a Helping Kids Eat Backpack Weekend Food program to ensure school-age children don't go hungry over the weekend, when free and reduced meals aren't being served; homeless and domestic violence assistance, re-entry programs for those incarcerated, life skills workshops for those entering the work force; mentoring groups for youth and assistance with substance abuse recovery.
