Junior Achievement is looking for companies that encourage volunteerism in their workplace. JA Programs ( www.juniorachievement.com) works with and trains volunteers to go into classrooms, K-12 to guide students through one of our programs by helping them to understand the importance of education and business; to encourage students to stay in school; and to stimulate interest in careers and business with hands on activities. The time involved is typically one hour per week for 5 to 8 weeks in the classroom with the teacher as a facilitator. The lessons and all materials are provided.
