Our mission is to provide housing, transitional services and pro-social support to those in transition with barriers to housing.

Each of our homes enlist the community to use a circle of support model to manage and support those in transition. This model has been successfully used since 1984 in Canada, United Kingdom and the United States.

Circles of Support are based on restorative justice principles. Each circle has a team of 4-6 community members who receive training and support from professionals. Mission Statement

You Have The Power's mission is to prevent and heal harm.

Description

"Restorative justice emphasizes repairing the harm caused by crime. When victims, offenders and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results can be transformational. Restorative Justice.org

Restorative justice has many applications in criminal justice, schools and the community which all address the harms, conflicts, and trauma we experience. The goal, regardless of the application, is to restore people through courageous dialogue.

We do this with restorative justice practices, community education, consulting, and coaching.
