Volunteer for up to six weeks in Tunisia!

IDEAS has partnered with an English Activities Camp that is helping meet the burgeoning need for young Tunisians to learn English. Tunisia is making great strides toward rebuilding their nation in the post Arab-Spring era and is charting a positive course for other nations in the region to follow. Tunisians realize that if they want their children to have access to the very best opportunities for higher education and employment in the 21st century, they need to learn English. This learning center has programs for children ages 2-14. The approach to teaching English is based on research from the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (www.carla.umn.edu), and is highly effective with young children.

IDEAS is looking for energetic volunteers with a passion for teaching young children. This approach utilizes a variety of highly engaging, motivating activities such as sports, music, art, drama and games to teach English to children ages 2-14. Behind every activity is a robust, coherent language acquisition curriculum.
