We are all experts : in our careers, in the lab, or in the garden.
Make a difference in the life of a child who needs you. Mentor through teaching for 90 minutes once per week for 10 weeks. Hands-on. Transform lives. Love the impact you make.
As a Citizen Teacher with Citizen Schools, you will share your expertise with middle-school students in low-income communities and expose them to new opportunities for the future. These hands-on learning projects called apprenticeships turn our kids into young scientists, architects, lawyers, business owners, or cooks and help our students gain skills, access, and beliefs that equip them for a great future . The Citizen Teacher experience transforms lives, inspires careers, and restores children’s zest for learning. If you have 90 minutes a week, you could change a student's life trajectory in just 10 afternoons.
Please consider signing up to learn more about this unique and rewarding volunteer experience with which you can get engaged!
