Mission Statement

The AAA serves older adults (60+) with services that empower them to remain in their homes for as long as possible as well as to improve their quality of life.

Description

As part of the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments, The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) assists in the coordination and development of a comprehensive system of services for older persons in El Paso, Park, and Teller counties.

The AAA serves older adults (60+) with services that empower them to remain in their homes for as long as possible as well as to improve their quality of life.

Some of these services include the following:

1. Senior Information and Assistance

2. Senior Insurance Assistance (medical insurance and claims assistance)

3. Family Caregiver Support Center

4. Long -Term Care Ombudsmen

5. Transportation

6. Home Safety Renovations

7. Congregate and home delivered meals

8. Legal counseling
