Help young students with their homework in a range of subjects - reading, writing, math, social studies, and science.

About

Help local school children (k-8th grade) after school with homework related projects, twice a week throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Help young students with their homework in a range of subjects - reading, writing, math, social studies, and science.
  • Coach students in groups of one to four.
  • Ocasionally assisting students with homework on school assisgned Chrome Books (laptops).
  • Speaking Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • Additional duties as requested by the Homework Help Club coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in the 10th grade or higher a minimum GPA of 3.0. Transcripts will need to be provided.
  • College students and retirees are welcomed.
  • Excellent oral communication & written skills.
  • Speaking Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic compuer skills.
  • Aides will need to be available Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:20 - 4:45pm
