Help local school children (K-8th grade) after school with homework related projects, twice a week, throughout the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Help young students with their homework in a range of subjects - reading, writing, math, social studies, and science.
- Coach and monitor students in groups ranging of one to four students.
- Assist students with homework on school assigned Chrome Books (laptops).
- Additional duties as requested by the Homework Help Club coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0. Transcripts will need to be provided if you are a high school applicant.
- College students and retirees are welcomed.
- Excellent oral communication & written skills.
- Speaking Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Aides will need to be available Mondays and/or Tuesdays from 3:20 - 4:45 pm.
