ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - Texas Gulf Coast Region

PLACEMENT PURPOSE
This is a national program being offered throughout 2014 in the Texas Gulf Coast Region. Using carefully assessed curriculum tools, this one-hour program provides emergency-preparedness education to youth in schools and after school settings. The program addresses home fire safety, local hazards, coping skills and making a personal emergency kit in a pillowcase that is supplied by the program.
