Hello, Soldier(s) or Veteran(s):
Are you a United States Soldier or a Veteran of the U.S. Military? Are you interested in helping fellow Veterans? You are, truly, needed! Read more about "the Mission":
Nobody understands the concerns of a United States Veteran more than a fellow Veteran or Active Duty Military Personnel. That is why Heartland Hospice has developed the Vets-to-Vets Volunteer Program, in which Volunteers with similar backgrounds can provide companionship Friendly Visits and Bedside Vigil to U.S. Military Veteran Patients.
Heartland Hospice is a proud Level 3 Member of the We Honor Veterans Program, a National Campaign developed by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization.
For more information, please contact the Leslie Dwyer, Volunteer Coordinator at Heartland Hospice in Northbrook, Illinois at 847-272-7338. Thank you for your time and consideration. Together, we can do great things!
