The candidate selected for this key role will be responsible for creating and maintaining a professional and ever-evolving web site and providing graphic design services for Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales using PowerPoint, Word & Quark templates. This will include creating print collateral designs, promos, ad banners and sales support materials. Must be experienced artist with a robust understanding of search engine indexing methodology. Experience with website development and search engine optimization is required. This position is critical to our success and requires a candidate who can multi-task. Job Requirements: -Demonstrated track record of strong, conceptual thinking -Understanding of marketing strategy with high attention to detail -Ability to produce compelling, professional design under aggressive delivery deadlines -Experience working within 4 main areas: Web Development/ IT, Graphic Design, Marketing, and Site Optimization -Experience conceptualizing, designing, producing and supporting corporate websites on the Internet -Proficiency in HTML, DHTML, CSS and Flash -Demonstrated understanding and experience of how large search engines work and the tactics companies employ to maximize listing prominence -Understanding of web design elements and their effects on optimization -Understanding of usability, information architecture and site optimization techniques - Ability to advise on current search engine news and trends -Expert knowledge of design programs, including Quark Express, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photo Shop Qualified candidates should provide a portfolio that reflects a strong body of work showing versatility and strong design sensibility.
