Risen Christ Catholic school is a K-8 school located in South Minneapolis. Close to 90% of our students live in poverty and are English Language Learners. This year kindergarten-4th grade are part of our dual immersion program and are taught 50% of the day in English and 50% of the day in Spanish. Our 5th - 8th grade classrooms are taught in English only. Volunteers are needed in both English and Spanish.

Description
Risen Christ Catholic School serves families who predominately live in poverty and are immigrants. The majority of our students hope to be the first in their family to attend college and break the cycle of poverty. We are located in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood of south Minneapolis and serve grades Kindergarten - 8th.
