Due to City of Austins orders and recommendatons with COVID - 19, The Long Center is postponing all activities until further notices.

Long Center iPerform Training & Volunteer Orientation.

The Long Center for the Performing Arts relies on a dedicated team of qualified volunteers who perform a variety of guest-focused duties. Individuals selected as volunteers will possess superior customer service and problem-solving skills so they can provide an unparalleled, positive experience for all visitors to the Long Center. It can take as many as 40-50 volunteers to staff a full-house performance in Dell Hall alone.

Long Center volunteers are committed to engaging with our guests. Our Volunteers know that they are an important part of the guest’s overall Long Center experience, and are committed to the service part of Guest Services! They set the Austin standard for excellent customer service. If you like people and performances, we invite you to become a Long Center Volunteer!

Description

The Long Center is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose performance venue with a 2400 seat concert hall and a 230 seat studio theatre. This center will be the new hub of the Austin arts scene, as the symphony, opera and ballet will soon call it their permanent home. Many other local theatre/arts groups will also enjoy our state-of-the art facility.
